Low but still have functionality
Hello I have a 80 c10 I want to lower it, but I still want it to be used like a truck is supposed to. I plan on putting a receiver hitch on it to be able to tow. I was thinking a 3/5 drop. Any opinion I great, thanks.

Re: Low but still have functionality
I have a 2.5/2.0 got a pretty good rake has heavy springs in back. But want to be able to haul my Road king south in winter had 250 lbs sand bags and loaded a350 eng. it brought it down a good 3 inches. So your going to have some pretty stiff suspension to haul to much. That would be my Guess.

Re: Low but still have functionality
Up to 4/6 drop & they're still pretty useable as a truck. If necessary, some air bags (a simple air-over-leaf set-up) can add some lift if necessary.
My old 74 was about 6/8 drop w/an AOL set-up....
