Saddlebag tanks, headers, Rams horns, Summit HEI, 2-barrel carb, fan shroud!

Hey guys, I've amassed more parts than I'm proud of while working on my truck. The parts are all located in Berkeley, CA and I'll ship the smaller stuff, but most of it is pretty heavy or bulky.

Two 16-gallon Side-saddle tanks that fit these trucks quite nicely. The filler necks are a bit short and I found it hard to get a gas-cap to seal, but they are in otherwise good shape. The senders in both of them still work too. Make me an offer. SOLD!

A pair of original cast-iron rams-horns. One side has cracks that have been welded back up. New studs were installed about a year ago. $50+ shipping

A mess of front suspension. SCRAPPED!

-'67 2-barrel rochester carb. Purchased rebuilt around 500 miles ago. This is the slightly smaller 2-barrel. $75+shipping.

-Summit's Billet HEI distributor. Comes with a set of long plug wires for an HEI corvette, which allows them to go under the rams horns. Again, around 500 miles on these. $75+shipping.

I also have a pair of turquoise lap-belts I took out of the truck. No major rips or tears, still retract well. $40+shipping

Added a V8 fan shroud from the '67 too. $60 +shipping

Bump. If my prices are high, make an offer. It'd be a pity for this stuff to go to scrap.

Re: Front suspension parts, side saddle tanks, headers, an engine?

The tanks mount ahead of the rear wheels under the bed with the filler necks going into the wheel wells. You can kind of see it in this picture. I'll take some pictures of the seatbelts tomorrow. They're from my '67 C20.

Do the headers include the collector adapters and all hardware shown in the Summit ad? How much is shipping to Southern Cal 91740?

Yeah, headers come with everything as if you'd bought it from Summit. The box is even still intact, just a bit more weathered. I can take a pic of everything tomorrow and I'll get a shipping quote then too.

Would you consider shipping the tanks? Do they include the mounting hardware?

Thanks,
Burnett

I'll have to see. I'd rather avoid LTL, so I'd have to find a box large enough to ship them. I'd estimate they're only around 30lbs each though. Mounting hardware is just two really long carriage bolts through the bed, and mine were welded in, so there was no real salvageable hardware.

More pictures later today!

Re: Front suspension parts, side saddle tanks, headers, an engine?

You may not need to box the tanks to ship them. I have received a number of large, sturdy items through UPS that were not boxed including a NP-205 transfer case. The transfer case was just shrink wrapped (a LOT of shrink wrap) and it arrived intact.

Have you decided on a price for them?

Burnett

Here's a picture of the seatbelts from a '67 C20, they're in pretty decent shape other than the plastic housing for the retractor. I also noticed I have a middle belt, which I may decide to keep, but it's in the picture.

I checked, everything is there, although one of the gaskets has a few small areas torn out. I've included a picture of it all. Shipping looks like it's around $25, but I haven't gotten the exact measurements and dimensions yet.

Ideally I'd rather not, but if nobody else shows interest, it's better than nothing.

I haven't decided on a price. I've had experience with UPS before where they won't accept stuff in shrink-wrap. I've had stuff come in with Fedex Shrink-wrapped, but I dont have a fed-ex account. Something around $50 each would be nice, and worth my time to ship.

I've also included pictures of the '67 C20 drum hubs. Complete with spindle and relatively new soft-lines. One of them is missing a castle nut and dust cap, but they worked when I took them off.

Next in line for the seat belts. Price including shipping to 78602 for all? I am mostly interested in the middle seat belt set.

Bummer. I have been searching for this particular color middle seat belt for over twenty years.

I will give you $50 each for the tanks provided the shipping is not exorbitant. How much for shipping to 80422?

Thanks,
Burnett

Sorry, I've been slammed working on the truck. I'll try and get you a shipping quote tomorrow.

I have to admit, you telling me they're that rare doesn't really make me want to sell more..... I had no idea, it was just sitting in a box. The throw on the shifter is so long it'd be awkward for someone in the middle, but if I can't ever replace it, I don't want to get rid of it. Sorry to get your hopes up.

I will offer $75 for the middle seat belt plus shipping if you change your mind.

Ok, I'll take you up on that. You seem to really want it, and my truck is very far from a restoration. Do you want all the belts or just the middle? What's your shipping zip?

Let me call UPS tomorrow and see how I can do this first. The quote is just for a package that size, not a used fuel tank. There may be issues with shipping these...... I want to get rid of these, but I want to make sure I can do it with no problems before taking your money.

Also I've added an OEM fan shroud for a V8 motor. In good shape, no cracks, not brittle either.

I am interested in the fan shroud if it fits a 68 that started life as a 6 cyl truck, now has a sbc v/8 with electric fans setup, not sure of the # of cores & I'll need to do some measurements. Can you give me the stats on it and post them or PM me back. ? how much & shipping would go to 92284, thanks mjgord51

For a package basically exactly the tank's dimensions it's $40 each. I'll have to check if I can ship it wrapped in bubble wrap though. At this size and weight the rate increases pretty fast, so the more packing material, the more it's gonna cost. It's 38"Lx20"Wx15"H and 52.5lbs.

Shipping will cost me $16 (assuming you're residential) how does $50 shipped sound.
