Love to have the seats. Live in pa, hate to think about shipping.
Do you mind quoting shipping to 17403? Thanks, John |

Re: GMC/Chevy Buddy Buckets - $800.00
you are probably looking around the 200 mark for shipping give or take.. I just paid 182.02 for shipping from Arkansas to Kansas for a set of Buddys... just to help you guys out... this looks like a pretty nice set...

Re: GMC/Chevy Buddy Buckets - $800.00
Total "real" shipping weight should be around 125 pounds between both boxes, but most carriers are going to use dimensional weight to figure cost due to the overall box sizes. We've sold and shipped countless 67/68 buddy setups all over the lower 48, here are some old saved file pics showing how we break down and ship them. The two main seats and the center buddy seat console go in one box w/all seat, track and console hardware tucked inside the center buddy seat box. The bare seat frame then gets wrapped in cardboard and sent as shown, we have been using this same method with great success for several years now. Mel

Re: GMC/Chevy Buddy Buckets - $800.00
Getting quotes for seats on pallet, #150 as follows:
85741 - $344.68 32444 - $586.34 17403 - $371.46 I think this is high so I am getting dimensions for the boxes with the buddy buckets in two cartons. Will let everyone know when I get the prices

Re: GMC/Chevy Buddy Buckets - $800.00
Check shipping through Fastenal. I've shipped some HEAVY stuff through them for a LOT less $$ than any other shippers. It's store to store, but well worth going this route.

Re: GMC/Chevy Buddy Buckets - $800.00
That's way high, using the 2 box method that I posted above you should be somewhere in the $150.-$200. range for ground shipment. Mel

Re: GMC/Chevy Buddy Buckets - $800.00
i actually sold the seats elliot949 is speaking of. boxed and ready to ship i came up with a weight of 129 lbs. fed ex was the cheapest @ 182.02 and ups was $210.22. i actually packaged per classic bowties pics, couldn't ship thru usps because of weight of the seats themselves @ 102 lbs boxed but get this usps wanted 72.94 to ship the 27 lb seat frame. hope this helps, michael

Re: GMC/Chevy Buddy Buckets - $800.00
Quotes varied so I am going with $1000.00 total - buddy buckets with shipping and handling. If its more than the $200.00 for shipping I pick it up and no worries. Let me know if interested, and you can call if you like 509-990-3608

Re: GMC/Chevy Buddy Buckets - $800.00
Just for a reference, I bought a set of Buddy Buckets from a guy in Maine.
Shipping on a truck line from Maine to Memphis TN. was $258.00 with insurance. I used 150 lbs. as the weight with pallet. Figured dimensions based on size, height, width, etc...of my bench seat. Also, this was from a business to a business. Home pick up and delivery costs more. This may be too high but if you really want a set of buddies, ya gotta pay. Hope this helps.
