Front shock question...
My 68 has been lowered 4'' according to the previous owner and the front shocks are shot!! Will I need a shorter shock or can I replace it with a factory length unit?

Just off hand, with a 4" drop I would say you need a shorter shock. You are not going to be in the center of travel with stock ones.... Just my 2¢ worth. LockDoc

Re: Front shock question...
Go to parts store get stock shock. Look on the box for the measurment. Cut 4" off of it and ask if they have anything.

Re: Front shock question...
How was it lowered? Drop spindles won't change your shock travel at all, so it you have 2" drop spindles and 2" springs you are only changing the shock travel 2". I would still say you need new shocks but keep that in mind as it may mean you haven't changed the shock travel 4".
