Bought a batch of trucks

Found an 99% rust free 70 C20 from Phoenix for sale locally (about an hour away) here with some other parts trucks and made a package deal. Probably don't need these distractions now but I couldn't resist since there were some K20's parts trucks/chassis there. Going to let them sit until after June when I will have more time, then hopefully I can recoup some of my money. The C10's are such janers and fairly rough, I hope they are worth my time to drag home. At least it gave me a reason to fix up this old 32 foot trailer and get it roadworthy again.

I am also getting a save-able K20 his buddy had when I go back for the last load. It will be three trips total with my big trailer.

Here is load 1: The good C20 and a parts 70 c10.

Looks good so far. How did you get the second picture so small? I can't get them that little even when I try...

Re: Bought a batch of trucks

Truck #1: the good C20, help me find a matching color tailgate and pass fender! This one needs a master cylinder and the AC is torn apart. Engine runs strong, reportedly rebuild 10,000 miles ago. Bedfloor is nice, just has some dirt in it. Original rockers and cab corners with no rust holes.

Truck #2: A no title parts truck C10. Has a pretty nice grille that will probably go on the C20 truck #1

WOW 2 trucks on one trailer. I wonder how many pounds you are rolling down the road, I'm thinking around 15,000 or more. Mileage? LOL.

Trailer is about 3000, tow rig 6500 with me in it and tools. figure 4000 for each truck, maybe a bit more. so around 17000 to 18000 in total The old 6.0 is working pretty good but up to the task if i stay out of overdrive. I need to get my weight distribution bars on, since the one ton (9600lb gvwr 2500hd) squats a bit. Trailer brakes are big and HD has hydroboost so stopping is good. Mileage i havent checked yet but im sure its single digits!

Thanks Randy. You actually had a hand in gettting these The winch is the M8000 i got from you. I put new tie rods, motor and cable on it. I like the tool box you had for it and i mounted that above the winch.

I have thought the same thing about the hood! Only thing id like better would be an 8.1 or cummins conversion, especially when hauling this heavy.
