Fuel Float Madness Solution

This is for the folks that need pictures for everything. As you can see if you hate the repro-brass leaking floats there is an alternative plastic float that is near exact same size as the ones that came in the trucks. This one is for 55-86Jeep CJ's and if you type in 1772901 into summit's online catalog, you can have one for 3.97 + SH. I don't work for summit, just want to pass some good information.

Nice! I'm sure the new sender I put in a few days ago will be taking on fuel in no time so I might as well just order this now LOL

Good luck. My leaker was on a new unit (the higher priced version). Put it in and it worked fine. A couple months later it read 3/4 tank when full. Six months later it was at 1/4. After storage this winter it was at empty. Replaced the fuel loaded brass float and all's well.

Re: Fuel Float Madness Solution

I used one of these a couple years ago. They are a perfect fit.
