Suburban 10 bolt 6 lug rear end?

I'm looking for a rear end to swap out the 3.08 open diff that I have now. I found one at a local parts yard from a 90-91 Suburban, But it is a 6 lug. The guy said he thinks it is a 10 bolt rear end, and will get back to me. I know the 12 bolts came in both 5 and 6 lug but did the 10 bolt also come with 5 and 6 lug axles? If so, I should just be able to find a set of 5 lug 30 spline axles from another 89-91 rear end and swap them out, correct? The rear end is a CU6, G80, While it is not my ideal setup, it should get me by until I can get the truck sorted out after the LS swap and save up the $$ to have my current rear end rebuilt with 3.73's and a locker of some sort.

The 5 lug was 2wd the 6 lug was 4x4,I believe you could just swap axles and drums i think.

Re: Suburban 10 bolt 6 lug rear end?

I went to look at the rear end today and turns out it is a 5 lug after all. He even threw in the A pillar trim pieces from the Burb. Hopefully I can get this thing put back together soon and my wife can have her side of the garage back.
