Do you know if it was on a long or short water pump 350? I need one for a long.

Re: Power steering pump bracket

I'm curious what the difference would be. Doesn't the ps belt only go from crank to pump, not using the wp pulley?

Re: Power steering pump bracket

Engines with long water pumps have drive pulleys that stick out too far for the belt to line up with the pump pulley.

Re: Power steering pump bracket

40.00 shipped is a really good buy, they are the same as corvette... on eBay they are worth double to the Vette guys. They work on any of our trucks just depends what pulley configuration you have.

skeeterbug...what year long pump stuff do you need? Do you have the rest or are you have pulleys etc. ?

Re: Power steering pump bracket

I'm now wondering if the one I'm using is for a lwp? Mine looks a little different than the one shown here. If I find out mine is a lwp bracket, I'll sell it and buy this one. Does the belt just go from crank pulley to ps pump or crank pulley, wp pulley and ps pulley?

Re: Power steering pump bracket

Can you tell from these photos if these are the ps brackets for a lwp that you need? I'm able to get these working, with a 3rd crank pulley and belt goes from crank to ps pump, not using the wp pulley. They just look slightly different from the ones in the first post
