I'm thinking about putting a hitch on the back of my K10, as much to stiffen up the back of the truck and protect the gas tank as anything else. Plus, this is the wrong bumper...

Anyway, I'm looking at hitches on etrailer.com and while they have applications for a '65 Chevy C/K, they only list for LWB trucks. Apart from the possible handling characteristics of towing with a SWB 4x4, is there any reason a hitch like this:

Wouldn't work?

Probably due to the underbed spare tire would be the only thing I could think of. And yeah...that bumper looks a little long.

I think it is a fleetside bumper. Other than that, I'm going side mount with my spare.

Thanks. I searched "trailer hitch" and found some info, but not as to the point as I was hoping.
