WTB, Rad mounts

update: I gathered up a set of I6 mounts but have found out (after trying to fit my rad) that I have the V8 rad. So once again, I'm looking for a set of rad mounts that fit the thicker tanks. Thanks guys.

Anybody have a complete set of rad mounts they won't be needing? I'm looking for the lower saddles and upper mount. I don't know if it matters but I'm working on a '65 and have a factory style I6 rad.

I have a factory I6 radiator mount you can have for shipping. I don't have any lowers. PM me your address and I can get it boxed up and let you know what shipping is. Should fit flat rate USPS for around $6

Will look like this

Re: WTB, Rad mounts

Still looking for a pair or lower mounts. Anybody have a junk frame sitting around with them on it still?

Re: WTB, Rad mounts

Do you need just the lower mounts or the cross member they are riveted to?
I feel sure I have them and a top mount depending on which one you need
I think these are the only top mounts I have left
Just let me know

Re: WTB, Rad mounts

I only need the saddles and rubbers if you have them. The crossmember is still in my frame.

Re: WTB, Rad mounts

Thanks guys, the mounts that I got are great. Unfortunately I did not realize that my rad is the V8 style. So now I'm looking for a set that'll fit the thicker core.

Re: WTB, Rad mounts

Is your radiator a 3 row core or a 4 row core. The mounts are different between those.

Re: WTB, Rad mounts

My rad is definitely a 3 row core, but it still won't fit but half way down in the saddles. Seems to me I either have the wrong rad or mounts.

With the rubber insulators the inside dimension is 1 7/8"

The bottom tank's width is roughly 2 1/4"

What do you think is going on? Do I have a wrong part? Or is the rad not supposed to fit all of the way down into the mounts?

This is what rad I have btw.

Re: WTB, Rad mounts

It should fit all the way down in the pads. I believe what you are trying to do is fit a 3 core radiator into saddles that were not made for it. The good part is you took a pic of tank thickness which will help you get the correct saddles. Keep in mind that even a 6 cylinder could come with a heavy duty radiator either 3 core or 4 core depending on how it was ordered. I think I have a set of mounts but am missing the rubber cushions . Not sure how they are doing on repo on the cushions or if they are available.

Re: WTB, Rad mounts

I figured the rad should sit all of the way down on the pads. I was checking out some books today. They had mounts listed, but they only had one part number for our trucks. They didn't have any designation for what rad they are made for.
Please let me know if you happen to have set that would work. I'd need the top one too if you could check on that too while you're looking. Thanks Paul.

Re: WTB, Rad mounts

I have two sets of lower radiator brackets. A lower rear set and an upper front set. All riveted in from the factory. Strange.
