Re: speedo help
What input does it want? The vss is a 4k signal I belive, if the gauges expect different, it won't read properly.
Certain changes can be made in the tune as well if the gauges don't have variable input.

Re: speedo help
I found this to. Maybe it will help. They have no tech support at all on the website which would bother me if I had their product.
http://www.alanhorvath.com/54chevy/dolphingauges.php This is a link off the post. http://www.alanhorvath.com/54chevy/c...o_adjust_4.jpg This is why I went with www.speedhut.com GPS no calibration.

Re: speedo help
Did you look at this one?
http://static.speedwaymotors.com/pdf/910-97710.pdf They have some explantation on how the pulse signal is made. Its a bit confusing but it looks like which wire is hooked up determies the rating. I see 4,8,16k pulses being possible if I read this right. Otherwise in the "speedometer" tab in HP Tuners you can alter the VSS output signal to 8 or 16 to match the gauges. Whoever did your tune should be able to make this change in about 28 seconds if his fingers are all broken.
