My intro and proof that I'm awesome

Hello there! I had been lurking for a long time and finally posted a bit. But I thought I should go ahead and do some of this forum-formality of introducing myself to this awesome worldwide community of truck lovers. Proof I'm awesome? Just check out my truck. Yep, that's a longbed '67 C10 with a 70sumtin 350/350 combo in it. It looked pretty much like it does now when I bought it about 6 years ago. It's an old, well-used work truck. But I've been trying to make time to actually work on it and freshen things up a bit. I've got a pile of parts just waiting to go into it- front disc spindles, another 12 bolt rear axle with 3.73 and posi, airbags, power steering and a 700r4. So I may share a little more of its journey and transformation. Oh and me? I guess I'm your typical Okie pot-smokin hippy mountain biker living in SoCal. I'm excited and supportive of new "green" technologies and riding bikes and all, but there's something about that American V8 rumble that I just can't live without!

Here's a shot of it with the big truck mirrors, but after I had already changed the hood and grille shell.

I agree.

The truck is awesome and you, therefore, by association, are also awesome.

Welcome!

Calling yourself "Awesome" IS "Awesome" so you're awesome. And a truck that drives upside down is also AWESOME. WELCOME! And you are welcome!

Ratpick welcome to the board. All the awesomeness was falling out of the bed of your truck.

If you're like me, when you work on the truck you don't sweat. You will exude awesome.

Always thought you have to be AWESOME before you can own an awesome Chevy truck. What comes first the awesome or the truck?
