292 L6 headers+ clutch linkage. clearance solutions
Looking for 292 motors with long down tube headers that are still running the stock Linkage. Modified or not. Any help is appreciated. Somehow I have to get the linkage threw this screwed up mess

The stock linkage will fit. Put the headers on 1st then clutch bell crank and you'll be fine.

It'll be tight. lol You can take a hammer to the headers to move them a little but do be careful. lol

Re: 292 L6 headers+ clutch linkage. clearance solutions
When I bought my 65 it had a 292 with headers and everything fit without modifications. It was a close fit but it worked fine. If I was a little smarter it would still be in the truck.

get rid of the headers and put Langdons Cast Splits on , you will be 10x happier.

No Dinero amino. if I did I would have got them hands down. But I got the intake and exhaust as a package deal off eBay
