2 or 1?
ive been really concidering when i get my 2wd running, take the 4x4 back down to frame, then do the frame up right. once i get that done, get the 2wd's body fixed and painted, and put the complete 2wd body on the 4x4 frame, and have one really nice truck instead of trying to restore 2.... what would you do?
also, im having title problems witht he 4x4..... kinda hard to explain but if anyoen really wants to know ill post it

i say get one where it is a dependible driver and then restore the othe and after the restoration, restore the other

I agree with krazy_texan, keep both, but concentrate on one at a time. Get the 2wd fixed up as a good daily driver, then tear into the 4x4 and do you're best job on that one, then when the 4x4 is finished, go back and take care of the 2wd. Just concentrate on one at a time.

Junk that 4X4...I mean, you fell through the friggen floor man!
J/K...I say get the 2 wheel drive running dependable...even if it means useing that 305 sh!t box of an engine, and then build up the 4X4. What kind of B.S. they giving you with your title? |

I know money is always tight especially in the teenage years, but to have more than 1 is cool. The way I look at it, trucks are a hobby, and you have a nice collection. Just make sure to concentrate on one at a time. I myself am considering buying another 67-72 now that I have my college loans taken care of and have some extra cash to toss around. Good luck!

Keep them, That way you can tear into one of them and get it done. I wish I had a second truck, everything would be a lot easier if I didn't have to worry about getting it back on the road in the next day or two after doing some repairs/updates.

work on one at a time, if title problems concern you you can work on the cleared title, leave the other for now, and you can still work on the title issue

it wouldnt the 4x4 i fell through the cab, it was the cab i was going to use on it untill i found shoody body work
2wd runs good, really nothing wrong with it mechanically... i just prefer 4x4 one reason i was thinking of making just one sweet truck is because #1- money, and #2- my dad is plannin on trading his ford (blown head or intake gasket---79K miles 1997 F-150 V6) and either gettign him a new truck or a reliable one for me to drive, so i dont have a real reason to have 2 other then just to have them.. now on the title thing, the guy's name on the title is raymond, well ol raymond sold the truck to a guy, the dude never had it switched to his name... then guy sold it to guy 2, then i bought it.. well its still in raymond's name, and the seller line on the back is signed with his signature, BUT its not notorized.. i took it to the court house, and they looked at it, looked in there lil book deal, and said oklahoma required a notory (oklahoma title)... so i have to get a bill of sale saying it was sold to me for X dollars.... i dotn even know if this guy is still alive!! so there is no way for me to get his signature notorized or a bill of sale... they said without it i cant put it in my name |

why dont ya try to write a letter to the guy in oklahoma this raymond character and tell him your problem and see if he will notarize the bill of sale for ya ya never know unless ya try

Well if the Title thing turns out to not work, I would just get a 4x4 bare frame, paint it, and start swapping stuff from your truck onto the frame.
