SPID help please....
Hey all, having a great time reading and learning! Would like some help identifying exactly what I have if possible...bought the truck a little over 6 months ago and was told it is a "Camper Special". Other than that, I know it is a long bed C20 Cheyenne. Thanks for for any help!

Re: SPID help please....
Not sure exactly what you are looking for as far as information.
Your truck is a 1972 C20 (3/4ton) with a 127" wheelbase built in Fremont California. As far as options go they are pretty much the normative for the time period and as a camper carrier. The engine is the upgrade 350 (from a 307) and the transmission is the TH350 three speed automatic. It has the leaf spring option upgrade vs the standard rear ciol springs. In addition it has the suspension options meeting those required for the Z81 "Custom Camper" emlems. They should be on the doors. The trim level is "Cheyenne" the third of four levels offered. In this case it is a saddle brown. It included several comfort and dress options including carpet, upgrade vinyl seat cover and lower bodyside moldings. The 536 paint is a conventional two-tone paint consisting of a 511 ochre body/interior and a 521 white roof.

Re: SPID help please....
Thank you for all the great information Tim, you definitely answered the questions I had about the original condition of the truck. I'll post a couple of pics to show what it looks like now, kinda wish it still had the bottom side molding!

Re: SPID help please....
Thanks for the pictures. It has a few mods for sure. Money and work could restore it to a much more original appearance if that is what you want. However at this point you must specifically ask if you want pictures or noted points of deviation apparent on your truck.
