1966 c10 ammeter question

Hello-
I have a 1966 c10 I need help wiring my ammeter I'm using the stock gauges. The ammeter has a black and a black with white strip wire. Where are those two wires coming from? I'm using a alternator that has one wire to it from the starter.

Thank you, Tom

Re: 1966 c10 ammeter question

There are diagrams out there. Black wire goes to the horn relay junctionand black/white goes to the starter. It is recommended to put 3 amp fuses inline on both. That was not done from the factory.
