They look to be 47-55 1st series fenders... but what the heck is that ribbed bed off of? I kind of dig the bed... but not on that truck.

Re: CL 69 stepside with ?? fenders?
I was thinking the bed is off a Studebaker truck. If so the bed is probably worth what he is asking. We had a Stude bed as a utility trailer when we were farming a gazillion years ago. I can still remember it sitting on the fence row by our shop. Jim

I think the IH was flat across the back, from the top down if you look at that bed it has a curve made to it. It would have helped if the gate had been there Jim

Sure looks odd. I can't put my finger on that bed. Could it be a Datsun bed with the outer skins off?

Re: CL 69 stepside with ?? fenders?
Tim, I think you're on to something!
Those beds had a top rail and the tailgate was curved out... but in all the pics I found, they had inner fender tubs. So that got me thinking... what other truck had a curved out tailgate with no inner bed tubs? 88-98 Silverado fiberglass stepside bed! I even found a pic of one "skinned" and it has the same goofy looking step, but it's goofy looking because it was supposed to support the fiberglass step. What do I win?
