s10 swap with 3" drop spindles and 4" blocks?
has any one used 3" drop spindles with stock springs and 4" block on a AD S10?
i have read alot of people using 2" drop spindles with 3" block, just wondering if the 3"/4" would be to low. |

Who makes a 3" drop spindle for the S10 chassis?

I don't know. I just assumed they did. I did a search and can't find an. looks like they do a 2" drop spindle with 1" drop spring for the front.

They sell 4 in. dropped leaves. You can also get dropped springs. The drop and how low the truck is will also depend on the height the cab is mounted off the frame. I've seen in other builds with the cab ~4 in. off the frame, 2 in. drop spindles, and 3 in. blocks, the truck sits nice: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...=382481&page=5 |

Re: s10 swap with 3" drop spindles and 4" blocks?
I have just set my cab and fenders on an s10 frame with 2" spindles and 3" blocks. I have set the cab about a half inch off of the frame and the rear of my front fender is about 4" off the ground. I think this will put my running boards about 3.5" off. It also depends on the size rims and tires you are running. I have 15's on all four corners. P235 70 R15 Radials in the rear, P225 70 R15 Radials in the front.
