Need help identifying where this part goes
1990 Suburban
I took the steering column apart to fix the sloppy tilt column issue. When I was taking it apart at around this step, this little spring clip fell out. Now I don't know where it goes.

is it the spring for the hazards to stay in place? here's a pic of mine, i don't think its missing from the front side of the turn signal assembly

The plastic is missing and looks to be bent up on the one end, but that sure appears to be the key reminder switch. there is a square hole under the T/S switch near where the ignition cylinder that it fits into. the plastic portion might still be there, just no metal part.

That is the right way. The copper tabs go at the top and point to the left when you are installing it.
