stock ride height 4x4 k5

I have recently purchased a 1972 k5. The truck was lifter lifted by the previous owner. Currently the truck sits on 305 75 17s and the rear fender arch is 44 inches from the ground, the front arch is 42 inches. The truck sits too tall to get in my garage so it needs to come down. Can anyone measure their stock ride height k5 and tell me how low it would get on stock springs?
Thank you
Brad

Mine is stock on 33x12.50 on 15s. I will measure it when I get home tomorrow.

I saw that spec sheet, it shows the factory height is 68 inches, my truck is supposed to have a 4 inch lift but the truck is 81 inches tall. I can't figure out where the other 7 inches came from.

Your tires are going to make you taller also. What are you measurements from the axle hub to the fenders?

My truck is pretty much stock. I do need to replace my body mounts. I measure 22 1/4 " on the front and 22 7/8" on the back from the center of the hubs to the lower wheel well lip. Hope this helps. Alex

Re: stock ride height 4x4 k5

I don't have my front fenders on at the moment, but my rear is 24" from center of the hub to the bottom of the fender and I have 3" lift blocks on the rear from the previous owner. If ASOLDE's truck is almost 23" inches bone stock then I am guessing the previous owner was making up for spring sag with mine.

My front springs sat almost level if not with a little bit of backwards arch so I am assuming my height is pretty close to stock on the front.

Re: stock ride height 4x4 k5

Thanks guys here's what I came up with measuring from the hub. 29 in the front and 26.5 in the rear, sounds like 4 inches in the rear is right, the front coming down 6 inchs should put the truck right about where I want it to be. Thank you guys
