Quadrajet
Anyone know what a stock Quadrajet M4MC/E4ME on a 1986 truck will flow in terms of CFM?

I am pretty sure it is 795, but don't quote me on that.
I just bought an Edelbrock replacement q-jet, and that is what it flows.

Factory stock Rochester Q-jets are capable of 750 cfm, but you need to make sure the secondary air valves open all the way to 90 degrees. A lot of them are setup to control the cfm by limiting how far it opens. It is very easily fixed, but you will need to change the secondary metering rods when you do. If you leave the stock rods, it will fall on it's face when you stomp it.

Thanks for the input, much appreciated. Swervin I read the stuff on your site about Q-jets. Sounds like Rochester Q-jets are getting forgotten by GM, something I'm familiar with from other manufacturers in my trade. Oh well, I'll just have to save up for a Holley of some sort.
