stock ride height? question about brakes also...
Is this the stock ride height? I forgot to get the tire size, will get that in the morning(think they are 32.5's tho). this is my first 4wd, so not sure what the suspension is supposed to look like. I think the leafs look a little flat, but I dunno.
Also, what is this under the steering wheel that my knee keeps hitting when I get in and out of the blazer? The line that comes out of the back of it connects to the proportion valve under the brake m/c I'm pretty sure. I've got a ls3 that I am almost done putting together and I would prefer it to be a little lower, so is it possible to put the axle on top of the spring instead of under them? Or will that cause issues with mounting the ls3/t56/awd xfer-case? |

It looks stock height to me,And i doubt you could lower it anymore with out the front driveshaft hitting the engine or something.

Re: stock ride height? question about brakes also...
Appears to be stock height. Front springs are typically flat or slight negative arch like yours. Also, the springs tend to sag over the years so your truck may be sitting just a bit lower than when it was new. There should be a rubber bump stop -- it may be there but I don't see it in the pic. The knee-banger is a trailer brake controller. If you won't be towing anything heavy, it can be removed.
