Front coil springs
Does anyone know a good front coil spring conversion for a racing C10. I tried the drop springs, too stiff, went back to stock V8 spring, still not a lot of weight transfer, and still a bit stiff. I checked Moroso, doesn't make a spring for trucks, does anyone know a spring that will work? Thanks

Re: Front coil springs
You might try a 6 cylinder replacement MOOG spring. I had bought a pair of Morosos for a 68-72 Chevelle application in the heaviest rate offered. On paper it should have worked. When they showed up they were so unbelievably long that I didn't think I would ever get it compressed enough to safely install them. Other than them taking my head off putting them in I was most afraid they would coil bind with any bump at all.So, No clue if they'd actually work..... Summit and Jegs have a pretty good return policy.

Re: Front coil springs
Its not the spring, its your shock. Find a spring that holds the weight and is the right height, then match a good shock. I've got QA1's up front on a 5" drop (not many companies make an adjustable shock thats only 9" long that will hold a 4k lb truck).

Re: Front coil springs
And it won't unload the front end at all? Or just not enough.

Re: Front coil springs
The sorting I have is way to light for a stock weight truck with big block. Do you itself a favor and go weigh your truck and let us know what the front weight is.
