Aftermarket blazer 1/4 panels
The 1/4's on my blazer are not in bad shape, but need the front and rear lower sections replaced, as well as the arch. I'm tossing the idea around of replacing the whole 1/4 with ones from Goodmark part numbers #GMK4143607681L and #GMK4143607681R
My question is how well do these fit? I'm reading that this also fits short box pickups, but I thought that they were different than the Blazers??? Thanks for any help. Dan |

Re: Aftermarket blazer 1/4 panels
Short bed sides will not fit without alteration but they now have complete Blazer-specific bed sides available.
There's a thread here or ck5 where someone had used them.....seemed to be happy with them.. I will be doing the same thing when I get that far...so let's hope they are adequate......? |

Re: Aftermarket blazer 1/4 panels
We used them and they worked well. They do not have captured nuts under the bed rail for a single wall top, nor do they have the nutserts in the C pillar for the rearmost top bracket. We also noticed a variation in the inner side wall geometry at the fuel filler neck relative to my original 1970. All manageable mods. Otherwise they are complete pieces and will work well with a reasonable amount of fiddling. You can click on my build thread below and check them out for yourself. GMCPaul, among others, have them. I got mine from South Kentucky Classics.

I will only be using a soft top, so the lack of nutserts is not an issue. I just didn't want to get into making the panel shorter. |
