Upper moldings used to make frames

Had some bent & dinged up moldings that I used to make some frames for a couple of my truck advertisements. I used the undamaged areas cut at 45 degrees with some sheet metal "L" corners to hold them together.

That looks really cool. Any pics of the back side on how you put them together?

Re: Upper moldings used to make frames

Used "L" brackets to hold the corners together (used a nail set to dimple the back of the moldings for a friction fit). Also used a little glue to keep them in place. Cut some 1\4 inch plywood to fit inside the back of the moldings & glued it to the corner brackets with poly adhesive. Added glass, pic, cardboard & retainers. Can't upload pics of back right now- will try later

Outstanding idea! I'm getting a rendition of my truck done for some motivation to keep grinding on it. This would be the perfect way to frame it up in the shop!
