Questions about removing the radiator core support?

I anticipate finishing the new fuel lines in the next few days. Once that's done, I hope to get the cab to frame bushings replaced (those under the cab). Then come those under the radiator support.

The consensus is that I have to remove the grill. Anything to look out for?

Also, My right front (outer fender) is pretty rusted to the radiator brackets. If it falls apart and I have to replace it, anything to look out for there? *I realize I'll have to remove the hood.

This is a stock 1972 truck.

Re: Questions about removing the radiator core support?

If I recall the grille on my 71 is straight forward. Just need a drill, sockets and rivet gun. If you have the same truck, I believe you can just leave the inner on the outer. Just take the outer off. Don't forget the bolt on the inside that mounts the grille to the bottom hood latch support.

I'm anxious to start taking my front end apart. My RH fender has some rust as well, though it doesn't look bad. Common for the battery side. As far as what to look out for, I've yet to remove a fender (pending). You may have to replace it.
