finally lowered the truck

Used a 3" dropped axle in the front and that 2" drop shackle kit from POL. I don't' think it really lowered anything back there to be perfectly honest, not very impressed. Not sure if the rear has to 'settle' into place or something.

Here are some before and after shots. I'll take another after on the next cloudy day to make them more alike.

to me it looks like the back is lowered at least 2". looks at the amount of tire sidewall visible above the rim but below the fender lip.

Thanks, maybe it's just me. I'll get it out on level ground and really give it a look. I'd like it to be level, so i may take out a leaf or two in the back.

It looks good to me! Hell it's pointing downhill so far I'm surprised it does tip over, lol!
I'd think the shackles have to drop it 2". There's no settling in with either end.

Re: finally lowered the truck

Thanks everyone. I still think i am going to take out the one short leaf, but likely not until next winter... She's out for the summer.. I want to drive her around and break in that new motor. I like it a little lower. Maybe now my wife won't say it looks like a farm truck!
