New Bucket Seat Covers and Foam
I am changing direction on my truck since acquiring some NOS and mint green interior items, SO my bucket seats were redone with new foam about 6 years ago. I am doing a complete change to green houndstooth and offer these seat covers and foam. They were completely covered in plastic and stored and are in great shape. The first "I'll take them" at $450 shipped. Thanks for looking!

Re: New Bucket Seat Covers and Foam
Does this foam also fit the buddy bucket seats? If so, I am interested in the foam if someone else could use the covers. Thanks.

Re: New Bucket Seat Covers and Foam
The foams will fit as the seat frams are nearly identical, the difference is in the shape of the foams and the covers. Good deal for someone.

Who did you purchase these from? I'm interested but would need to buy matching cover for rear seat. Thanks, rich.

Re: New Bucket Seat Covers and Foam
WOW....just WOW!!! I spend several hours last night going thru the truck site google search trying to get good info on the bucket seat covers and such since I am getting ready to recover one set of my seats. I come across your ad for covers and foam but there is NO mention of manufacturer of the covers. I just spent several hours going thru old posts stating that the PUI covers are junk, don't last, save your money and get truck world etc. etc. so in order to make sure they are not PUI covers, I ask an intelligent question so I can make an informed decision. In order to make that decision I had to post a question which in turn brings your post to the top that has had zero responses of interest for the last 30 days. Instead of answering the question I immediately get skipped over and covers/foam offered to an uniformed buyer. If you don't want people asking questions PUT ALL THE INFO IN THE AD then we can move on or say "I will take it". I feel like I am trying to deal with the Gov't health care and I have to "pass it to know what's in it".
Then 20 minutes after seeing post that pm sent to 3rd poster I get a pm saying if the deal falls thru you will let me know....... no thanks keep em Richard

Re: New Bucket Seat Covers and Foam
I can't tell you how many deals I've missed by asking questions or making offers. For the asking price the covers were basically free.... If they had been the color I needed they wouldve been gone a month ago. I've also missed sales myself by waiting on someone who was "interested". The seller followed all the rules. It still sucks to miss a deal though.....

Re: New Bucket Seat Covers and Foam
Dan,
What gripes me is the fact that the ad was never even bumped ttt for 30 days and was only done so because according to the sites buyers code of conduct II. Make initial contact with the seller in the thread. Failure to make initial contact for parts you are interested in via the thread will result in account restrictions. I had to ask the question in the thread instead of sending you a PM so that I could stay within board rules. Up until I bumped with my question there was no traffic on the thread for 30 days. Chances are if I had not bumped it you still would not have the sale on it this morning. I just feel that it is very unsportsman like to treat a fellow member like that. If it was a newer thread you would have never heard a peep out of me but knowing my toes were stepped on because I phrased my question differently irks me. I know, bottom line is its your part and you can sell anyway you see fit. I now know that in the future if there is a post that is not cut and dry with all the needed info that I will just pass it on by whether I am interested in the item or not. In my mind there is no difference between "I am interested" and "I will take it pending" whatever question I might have. In both instances there is no guarantee that I would purchase the item if your answer is unfavorable to me. I hope you do not see this as me trying to start a pissing contest, because I am not. I just feel that if no one brings this stuff up then nothing will ever change and more people will stop using the site. This might even be a better subject brought up in the feedback area I don't know. In the end, glad you sold your parts. Richard

Re: New Bucket Seat Covers and Foam
Parts are sold. Seller was not out of line in doing so. Time to move on.
