Different look

Had some new parts for awhile and finally decided to get off my butt and put them on.

Before;

After;

I'm liking the black a bunch more than the plain aluminum. What do you guys think?

It's dirty but it's the best picture I have right now.

Re: Different look

Glad to see that Cool Flex water "hose" go in the trash bin.
I've got a customer that's addicted to the shiney stuff and has those on his tri5. We swapped a different motor and radiator into his car, and the top hose became too short. Took me like a week to find someone who had what I needed, as the company wouldn't answer emails or the phone. Most of the suppliers listed on their web site that I talked to didn't have any of their stuff in stock, couldn't get ahold of them to order more, and didn't want anything further to do with the company.
I'm also liking the changeover to the black.

Re: Different look

Old Crow,

I really didn't like that upper hose from the day I put it on, but I had to use it. $$

I've had this truck for over 25 years and I never get tired of driving it. Working on it maybe, but people always look at it and say "I used to have one of those, what year is it a 55" always cracks me up.

Now just to fix that dang transmission leak...

Re: Different look

I love the new look on the motor, Billet Aluminum is fine but always seems to be dated like the paint everything outside on the truck or car in the 90's.

Re: Different look

Ha,
This truck hasn't seen snow in over 10 years. It's dirty cause it sits in the garage and it hasn't really moved in about a year.

I finally got all the engine oil leaks taken care of and now on to the transmission.
