Leaf spring bushings

I've replaced my rubber leaf spring bushings on my 72 K1500 twice, first with urethane then some rubber bushings I had. Both sets deteriorated within a year. The urethane actually fell apart faster than the rubber ones, I can't remember what brand they were but I want to try urethane again, hoping I can find some of better quality than the last ones! Any suggestions on which bushings to get? I don't want to do it again next year!

Wow. That's crazy. The urethane bushings on my Rancho leaf springs have been on my Jimmy since 1990. They are cracked but they are still doing there job. And they were mocked up on another frame for awhile so were several years old at that point.

I'd give the urethane bushings another shot or I would find a source with a reputation for standing behind their products if I were to buy rubber.

You might try to locate some metal leaf spring bushings.

Yea, they fell apart in chunks, like dry cheese!
