65 C10 gauge cluster ground?

I have rebuilt my gauge cluster & have a ground from each connector which is straight forward, problem is I took it apart in Nov. & have a separate ground wire from behind the cluster (grounded to sheet metal) that I marked as "to instrument cluster". Question is does the cluster itself require a ground wire over & above the two from the connectors??

Re: 65 C10 gauge cluster ground?

My understanding is from the factory, the cluster is self grounded being mounted to the steel dash. I have also added a ground from my cluster to the body though.

Thanks, mine must have had a ground to the cluster added as well.
