73-87's on Hot Rod Power Tour 2015

Post in here if you're going on any day of the Power Tour 2015 so that we can plan to meet up, hang out, drive together, and support each other. I'm going to attempt the long haul this year. Nearly 1500 miles on the tour itself and nearly 1000 more to get from Des Moines, Iowa to WI and back from LA, about 2500 miles total... I'm heading out on Friday morning early, stop in Dubuque, Iowa to pick up some friends and their cars... Hope you can make it!!!

I'm supposed to go, starting in St Louis and ending in Birmingham. It's still up in the air about me getting off work. I probably won't know until a week or so before hand.

I'll be at the Gonzales, Louisiana spot. Would y'all like for me to plan a big meet up that day local? We could all hang out some where then go eat and hang out some more.

Cabella's is right there and has a huge parking lot that is used for a monthly car show.

It's right by a tanger mall with restaurants and there are plenty more restaurants in gonzales we can go to or even cruise into Baton Rouge, it's about 15 minutes away.

Did anyone else pop for the VIP tickets (either initially or when they opened up more VIP spots recently)? I just got my confirmation for the VIP dinner on the evening of the 5th. With preferred parking at each event, I don't know how anyone ever passed it up.

I'm leaving north Louisiana June 4th. Staying northeast of St.Louis and driving to RingBrothers Friday.

Be sure to check out their 900 HP motorhome!!!

I'M SO EXCITED!!! I'm really surprised I could sleep last night and I doubt I'll sleep much tonight. So much to do tonight when I get off work... Laundry, pack tools, last few little tidbits on the truck like oil pressure gauge hookup and one last retorque of the rockers (had one loosen up on me last year and trailered it home only to later find the 20 minute fix). Probably going to leave at 5 or 6 in the morning to get there early. Then the VIP BBQ in the early evening.

You all have fun. I'm not gonna make it this year. Really busy at work and not sure my POS is 100% ready for the trip.

I'm never 100% sure with these old rigs... that's part of the thrill! <Brad checks to make sure towing insurance is paid up>
