Anyone ever use a WIRED fm modulator?
I'm looking for an easy way to get an aux input hooked into my stock radio... I'm familiar with FM modulator technology, but it's always been second rate as you get some much interference from competing signals over open airwaves.
On Amazon I've found a wired version of an FM modulator. It plugs into your antenna port and pipes the signal directly into your stereo. In theory, it eliminates the outside interference. Anyone ever used one? Here's a link to what I'm looking at... Amazon.com : Audiovox FM100A FM Modulator with...

I've used them and never had a problem. My wife's Tacoma has had one for 6 years and works great.

I use one of these on a daily basis in my SRX.
Works pretty good! The audio quality would be a little bit better if it were a straight auxiliary input for the stereo, but if you have to do FM modulation, it's the best way to do it. No interference at all, it's like having perfect signal on an FM station at all times. |
