1997 NV4500 in 1972 C20
Over the weekend I made a great trade for an NV4500, clutch assembly, drive shaft and clutch slave out of a 1997 Chevy 1 ton. What style clutch pedal should I use? It will go behind my 383 CI but I am considering getting a 1997-1998 Vortec engine also. Any advise is appreciated.

When I put a 96' in my 46' I adapted the hydro master to connect to the clutch pedal by determining the stroke of the piston and the travel of the pedal and where the line intersected I cut a hole in firewall and drilled a hole in the pedal arm.

I can't help you specifically but there are quite a few Threads on here about hydraulic clutches. If you type the words "hydraulic clutch" into the Google search box above this thread, click on the circle in front of "67-72chevytrucks.com", and click on the "Google" button you will get a lot of hits on it. Just watch what year the thread covers because the hits will cover all years. LockDoc
