Pitman arm help please

Okay, I have a 1970 c10 short box with manual steering, time to go power. I went to advanced auto and purchased the power steering pump and gearbox for the 1970 c10. I read in the forum that I also needed the new rag joint which they had. I also read I need the pitman arm. They had to order the moog pitman arm because they didn't have one on the self. I got home held the new gear box in place and noticed I had to notch the front bumper bracket to clear, done. I bolted the new power box in place, noticed it takes four bolts not three. Done. The new power steering box spline shaft sets way closer to where the pitman hooks up. My question:
Can someone tell me the difference between the manual pitman arm and the power steering unit arm? Is it a short little thing or am I missing something?
For the pump mounting I'm installing a v8 instead of the six and plan on purchasing a serpentine kit. Probably buy the hoses from Paul's, etc.
Thanks for any help, always very much appreciated.
