Re: juat a quick 67 paint question

there was a thread on here a couple days ago about a blue truck, a man looking for a color and someone posted a link to color codes of all years. I went back and found it a page or two deep here and the color code for the orange[516] is the same for 67 69 and 72 . so going by that I would assume the orange is the same for all years and yes it would be Hugger Orange but I don't think they called it Hugger Orange until 1969. Re: juat a quick 67 paint question

The Orange color used in '67 + '68 [516] was called "Omaha Orange" in earlier years. It's a lighter hue (more yellow, less red) than the 1969 "Hugger Orange."
Called "Tangerine" and "Tangier Orange" even "Sunbolt" in later years.
Names for car and truck colors are decided more from the Marketing and Advertising department than from any scientific adherence to true colors.
