Feelings about seeing my old truck on Facebook

Yesterday I was on Facebook and saw that someone was selling the truck I sold last December. The new owner was quoting incorrect specs so I correct the kid on the height of the drop. He was claiming a 4/6 drop when it has a 2.5/4 drop. He gets on there and tries to tell me that I had to cut the leaf springs off that is why he thought it was dropped 4/6. I tried to correct him telling him that the majority of Chevrolet truck came with coils. His buddy then comes on and tells me that I am retard that he can see where I cut off the leaf springs. I done trying to help teach idiots. His pic is the one that has been edited.

I'm pretty sure my signature applies to these guys.

Re: Feelings about seeing my old truck on Facebook

he's a dork. But it's his truck to mislead about now if he wants. I'd throw some friendly info his way once in case he's making an honest mistake (in a private message, not on his actual page), then just let it go if he's an actual dork.

Just my personal opinion - but for ol farts like myself, fb seems to cause more problems than it's worth. That's why I spend my limited spare time here! Besides, you all have all "friended" me already (thank you, thank you) - what more could I want?

Yeah that was my mistake. I should of messaged him directly. It's a little disheartening to still the truck in the hands of idiots since I miss driving it so much. Unfortunately I had to choose which old vehicle to keep and my Corvair will always win that fight. I drove the truck enough that all my co workers and a lot of the local car guys around Jefferson City knew it was mine. I still get asked what happened to it.
