Brake Cable Seal Set from LMC - where does it go?

I'm replacing most of the parking brake parts on my '72 C10. I ordered the brake cable seal set from LMC. These are thick felt material. In the catalog it looks like they go on the back side of the drum plate, maybe where the cable enters the plate, but I cant' figure out where they go.

I've done a fair amount of searching and I cant' find a diagram that details where they go. Any help would be appreciated... photo, link to diagram, etc.
