I wrap the fenders in used carpet padding, then shrink wrap. I use FedEx $65 or Greyhound $73

Greyhound would be your cheapest route.I wrap hood in old carpet padding & shrink wrap, I haven't had any problems shipping that way. Or I can build a crate which will double or more with a friegfht company.
