66 frame numbers
OK I have a question for all of you Chevy/GMC truck gooroos. I bought a 66 GMC 5 years ago and just made a lot of progress with the project with in the last year. When I bought the truck I noticed it had been upgraded to front disc brakes.. Great less work for me but it also has 5 lugs on the rear axle no problem right.. But now I need to order some parts and I don't think the chassis is 66 at all. It does have rear leaf suspension as a GMC should for the 66. I can't find a VIN number on the frame anywhere. There are part numbers on both the left and right frame rail below the cab... Right- 2491530 11 19 1601 and left 2491529 11 18 1601. Can any of you truck gods help me with this?
