72 brake pedal bracket.....????

Just a quick question.... Does anyone know if the brake pedal assembly from the 73-up trucks work in the 67-72?? Having trouble finding a bracket and pedal for an auto trans 72 truck..

Not sure on the 73 up stuff but the 67-72 auto and manual brackets and pedals are the same the clutch just slides into the brake pedal bracket. Fyi

Isn't the brake pedal arm and pad different then the manual? More toward the left and a bigger pad?

No, same pedal for all 67-72's. std or auto.

The bigger pedal for autos happened after our body style.There are somr threads on here about putting a big pedal on but it is a cut and splice weld type thing.
I plan to cut off the auto pedals from some trucks I've junked either the 99and up or the 88-98 style I have tons of both. Jim
