Fender Brace + Fender Seal
Anyone thats pulled their front end off probably had these things fall off or rust out. I'm curious if you need both the Fender Brace and the Seal, or if you can just buy the seal and fit it to my old braces? These are the ones running from the rear end of the front fender, to the firewall and inner fender.They kinda look like wacky lawnmower blades.
LMC lists both the braces and the seals, but I'm not sure if the brace includes the seal or not. My braces are salvageable with a quick blasting, so I'd rather not spend the $70 on new braces.

I used my original fender closing panels and installed new seals on them using floral aluminum wire from Michaels. I have some pics on my stepside build thread......I can see if I can find the post #

AHA thats what I'm looking for. Did you just get the seals from LMC or something like that? I didn't see it listed in your build.

I ordered them from classic parts. They are heavy and the quality looks good. its a real benefit if you can use the original as a template for the gasket placement.

Mine are like 85% good, so I'm contemplating saving them vs just getting new ones. CP has a sale right now so its tempting to just take the easy way.
