3/4 ton vs 1/2 ton 2wd frame question

I got these off my 75 C20 frame and I was gonna use em on this C10 frame seems like they would add a little strength to the area when I went to put em in everything lined up except they are too short to bolt to the top of the frame I don't have any pictures of them in the C20 frame so does anyone have a 73-87 C20 they could post pics of these installed
thanks!

The C20 frames are about an inch shorter in that area. The crossmembers are the same because nothing attached to the top of the frame. Here is the best pic I have of my truck with those mounts.

Isn't that odd... I have an 81 C20 crossmember in the front of my 64 suburban. Those inside strengtheners fit like a glove into the 64 frame.
