some videos with the new motor

first one is just a look at the motor at idle

second one is a "little" tire spinngin proble i have through all 3 gears. remember i've got a peg leg 10 bolt with 2.73 highway gears. and power breaking is not needed

last one is just from about 30 mph - 100mph i wasn't really watchin the speedo so i don't know for sure

Ok, I want a full report on that truck. Full engine specs, and what exhaust. I have a 400 block sitting in the garage, and I really like the way your truck sounds, and bugies! Also, what trans are you using? Thanks.

"408 sbc, rotating assembly balanced by kim barr racing engines in garland tx, steel crank, 5.7 forged eagle SIR rods, forged srp pistons, ARP head and main studs, moroso 7 qt side sump pan, melling high volume oil pump, dart iron eagle heads (200 cc runners, 64 cc chambers, 2.02/1.60 ss valves), 10:1 cr, comp cams 274 extreme energy solid lift cam (.501/.510, 274/280 adv, 236/242 at .05), comp magnum 1.52 roller tip rockers, dart kool can intake, holley 110 gph mechanical fuel pump, edlebrock 600 cfm carb (temporary), edlebrock victory jr waterpump, march dual serpintine aluminum pulleys (underdriven crank pully), hei with pertronix upgrade kit, taylor wires, autolite plugs, dyno max ceramic coated headers"

i'm still lacking a few things to really have it running right. next is the 750 custom built holley, then some kind of correctly curved distributor (i can't get this one right) with a 6aL box and external coil, then the 12 bolt with eaton posi and 3.73's gears (i think i have traction problems now ), then slicks and nitrous.

exhust is the chevell shorty headers made by dynomax that everyone is talking about, then just daul 2.5 inch pipe and 40 series straight out of the muffler, no tailpipes. i will be switching to a little quiter mufflers eventauly but its not a major priority right now.

Sounds awesome and the movies are sweet.

Only thing I don't like is that clear fuel filter. I had one of those on a car that had a Holley and I was forever changing needle and seats. I put a regular wix filter on it and and never changed them again. (I did drive it quite a ways before I got rid of it...)
