Nice work. I'm Just finishing up a restore on an '86 CJ7 (paint should be done soon). Looks like you started with a clean one. What are the drivetrain specs?
I have a Warn 8274 that I'm contemplating putting on the Jeep so it's good to see how it looks on yours. |

It has the stock 258 with a Dana 30 up front and the AMC 20 in the rear. It has the SR4 tranny that everyone but me hates, and the Dana 300 t-case. The only changes I made were to add the Weber carb kit and the split header to run duals on it. I also added a HEI distributor to get better spark. It does really well on and off road and believe me, we hammer on it. Good luck with yours and post up some pics.
