Anybody running pb level1(mild) dropmembers???pics??

i need to make up my mind on which pb dropmember to order, ive been on the fence for a while now. kinda leaning toward the (mild)level 1 kits. nate has emailed me a few pics of a truck aired out and i like it. but i was wondering if anybody has any pics of one at ride height and aired all the way up. also like to get some input from anybody that has done it. problems, helpful insight, thoughts, recomendations welcome

My only issue with the Level 1 and 2 Dropmembers is the more complicated steering shaft linkage required.
For the same money,... I'd rather install a Level 3 Dropmember and only have 2 knuckles in the steering shaft.
(but you do have to notch the frame for the rack steering)

thanks for the help . but stella mae has a "stage kit" not a "dropmember level 1,2,3". what im looking at is a dropmember level 1 (mild) kit. what i dislike about the level 2&3 dropmembers is the narrowed trac width in the front. looks kinda funny to me, mainly when at ride height (which is where the truck will be 90% of the time). trying to get as much info and details as i can before i make a purchase, it seems like theres not alota folks running level 1..

MY opinion only.
The Level one only gains you 1" of extra crossmember "ground clearance" and rack steering.
For the same money you can get 3" of extra ground clearance.
And track width is subject to the backspacing on the wheels you buy.
I had 15x7 ralley wheels on the front of my '70 stepside when I sold it and it didn't look too narrow in my mind.

ive never thought about the backspacing and u are correct!! but even if you backspace the front wheels outward to widen the trac width, dont you get into rubbing issues when turning?? im just on the fence lol i wana low ride height but wondering if the more extreme drop members are a lil unrealistic for an evryday shop truck. roads here are AWFUL, and i think man what if i was 4" off the ground...

Man ya frame is sweet! Whats your frame to ground measurment??? Any updated pics?

The Level 1 does not seem to be nearly as popular, as stated before, given the same cost you can lay frame. I didn't really have the desire to do that but wanted the added benefits of modern geometry, ground clearance, and R&P steering. I've got a Level 1 front sitting in my garage awaiting time to mock up on my truck. I'm pretty sure I'm also sticking with the Stage 2 kit I currently have. I also really do not want a 2-piece driveshaft and the Level 1 front/Stage 2 rear is about the only solution. Plus I would prefer not to raise my bed floor.

As far as ride height, I'm expecting it to be equivalent to a 4/6 or 5/7 drop but that's just a guesstament.

Now had I not started purchasing parts before I fully decided how I was going to build my truck and looking back, I may have gone ahead and went Level 3.
