ideas for replacement fuel filler neck - need help
I have a 71 burb and someone decided to try and take the locking cap off with a crow bar or big screw driver. they got the cap off but ripped half the filler neck lip.
I have looked everywhere for a filler neck to no avail. so my question is what have others done to resolve or change this without huge body modifications? does any other filler neck fit close that is available online that is vented? has anyone converted the vented cap to a sealed cap and how did you do it? thanks |

Re: ideas for replacement fuel filler neck - need help
My burb has the tear drop version from here (http://www.haganauto.com/fuel_doors_gas_lid_s/5.htm), but that does require a body mod to change the door. You may be able to use their filler spout for the screw on type cap.
