pass side door stuck, wont open

The other day I had someone with me and he grabbed the outside door handle and of course it was locked. For whatever reason he kept trying to open it as I was hitting the unlock button from the inside driver side button. This caused something to jam up because now the door wont open and the manual lock switch on the pass side it stuck up in the unlock position and does not move when I lock the driver door with the button. Tried a coat hangar to try to unjam the rod but couldnt feel anything. What do I do? Its a pain trying to get my kids in the truck from the driver side. Im about to just take it to a body shop.

The door lock is stuck in the lock position . Take the manual lock lever and move it bab and forth from lock to unlock and it might free up. A body shop will put a wedge between the glass and weather strip and try to free it with a slim jim.

The manual lock is stuck in the unlock position and won't budge. I'm afraid to force it. I just need it fixed and I don't have the time or patience to mess with it.
