"fresh off the farm" short beds

I listed a "67 on ebay and a ton of extra sheet metal with it on E-bay and I'm really kind of surprised as to the amount of views it's had and how many watchers are following it .

There have been 1,485 views and there are currently 72 people watching the auction in just 5 days ! I just think it's cool how much interest these old trucks (all 67-72's ) Are bringing when not long ago they were being sent for scrap . Now if mine will sell is another question ....

For anyone watching the reserve is $2,500.00 lets see if they sell !

That is not a bad deal for someone, the body looks to be straight and mostly rust free. I've definately seen worse!

Re: "fresh off the farm" short beds

I think $2000 is a typical market price for that truck with extras without seeing how the body really is. Figure between $2-2500 on it in the end but you've got 4 days still.

Re: "fresh off the farm" short beds

Probably could have left the reserve at $2,500. I'm sure it will hit your lowered reserve next bid. The real action is n the last five minutes. If it didn't reach reserve you can always go down the list and offer it for the lower price. I've never seen any of these go to scrap unless there's nothing left. They have always had a decent value from what I've seen

Re: "fresh off the farm" short beds

I'm pretty sure it will get to $2,500. I'm already in the middle of a few expensive projects and I'll want to shoot myself for letting it go but I just really needed the frame from one of them and couldn't bring myself to breaking up a running truck so that's why I'm letting go of a ton of sheet metal off the frame donor and someone will get a good deal with a bunch of decent sheet metal to go with it , I already have my fair share of beds and cabs /doors/fenders and I really don't need another project ....OR do I ???

Re: "fresh off the farm" short beds

No reserve & end up around the same price or just contact one of the bidders & see if they want it.

Re: "fresh off the farm" short beds

Well ... After sleeping on it I've decided to build the blue truck since I already have all the parts and some decent paint colors and a good matching vinyl seat material that I can rebuild the seat and cover other panels with I'm thinking this paint and an off white roof and grille inserts and wheels ,Just a nice clean look and leave the 6 and 3 speed for the next owner to run or change later .

The other 67 I'm listing as a complete part out this morning in the classifieds
