bought another one

bought another 72 K5 from a local wrecking yard. it's a real turd but has a lot of little pieces that are missing from the project i got for my dad. the body is a total throw away, i'll be cutting it up as soon as i get it home. the poor thing is rotted out everywhere. it's sitting on top of a shipping container so i have to wait for the forklift to be repaired so they can get down on the ground-hopefully it doesn't fall apart towing it home. i'll try getting some pics when it gets here, i didn't have a camera when i climbed up to look at it. i assume it was from our coast or back east with all the rust. it comes with assorted patch panels but there is nothing to weld the panels to,lol. flintstones would love it. double wall top might be repairable, rear hatch is garbage, still has what appears to be original running gear-V-8, turbo 350 and 205 t-case. guess i better go get a tetnus (sp) shot before i start on it
